Jump into the creative, comical and fantastical world of theatre! Through ensemble (creating our theatre family), game play, discussion, improvisation and laughter we will explore the many elements of live theatre, risk-taking and critique before we embark upon staging our own live performance for both the student body (morning assembly) and family/friends (evening performance).  Actors meet twice a week to build ensemble and strengthen academic abilities (reading, listening and observation skills) along with stage direction, body movement, acting technique, vocabulary, character, voice and chivalry and more! Also included: a trip to BHS to attend a live Improv Show and a preview of the BHS Productions fall play with cast talk-back and tour (backstage area, greenroom, shop and booth), guest artist instruction/master class, club T-shirt and cast party!

As always, our time together includes creativity and A LOT of laughter!  Club also includes a club t-shirt, attending the BHS fall play, live improv performances with BHS Improv (Nov., Feb. and Apr.), Guest Artist Master Classes (Acting Theory, Character Development and Improv) and our own live performances (may include several of the following: Dinner Theatre, Improv, Shakespeare in the park, Straight Play and Muscial Review)!
